Community Guidelines

PartnerXperience is committed to being the most trusted source of partner program intelligence. Our platform is built on the integrity of partner feedback, the authenticity of reviews, and the transparency of program information.

To maintain a safe, reliable, and transparent environment for everyone on PartnerXperience.com, we have established the following community guidelines. These guidelines define the standards we expect from all participants. Your use of PartnerXperience is also subject to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Our Trust Framework

Every rating and review on PartnerXperience must meet three core standards:

Authenticity

Reviews must come from real partners with genuine, first-hand experience in vendor partner programs. No fake reviews, no fabricated experiences.

Accuracy

Review content must be truthful and reflect actual experiences. Ratings should accurately represent your satisfaction with the program.

Integrity

Manipulation, including fake reviews, rating manipulation, or deceptive activity, is strictly prohibited.

Guidelines for Partners (Reviewers)

Our goal is to ensure that all reviews on PartnerXperience accurately reflect the honest and authentic experiences of real partners in vendor partner programs.

Who Can Leave a Review?

Allowed

  • Active partners currently participating in a vendor partner program
  • Former partners who participated within the past 24 months
  • Evaluating partners who are actively assessing a program for potential partnership
  • Partners from any business type: agencies, MSPs, MSSPs, consultants, resellers, system integrators, ISVs, and affiliates

Not Allowed

  • Vendor employees reviewing their own company's partner program
  • Direct competitors reviewing a competitor's partner program
  • Reviews submitted on behalf of someone else or based on another person's experience
  • Reviews from individuals with no genuine program experience
  • Reviews from family members of vendor employees

Verification Requirements

To maintain trust and authenticity, we use a two-tier verification system:

Tier 1: Email Verification (Read Access)

  • Professional email address (non-free domain)
  • Grants access to read full reviews
  • Cannot submit anonymous reviews

Tier 2: Full Verification (Write Access)

  • Professional email verified AND LinkedIn connected
  • Can submit both public and anonymous reviews
  • Displays "Verified Partner" badge on anonymous reviews

Note: Verification status is captured at the time of review submission. If you submit a review before completing verification, that review will remain unverified even if you verify later.

Review Visibility Options

All reviews on PartnerXperience are public. You control your identity visibility:

  • Public Review: Your name, relationship type, and company size are displayed with your review
  • Anonymous Review: Your identity is hidden, but the review is still public. Requires full verification (Tier 2). Displays "Verified Partner" badge.

One Review Per Program

You may submit one active rating per partner program. If your experience changes, you can edit your existing review at any time. Edited reviews go through our moderation process again.

AI-Assisted Reviews

Allowed

  • Using AI tools to help draft your review, as long as it reflects your genuine experience
  • Using grammar or translation tools
  • Editing AI-generated content to accurately represent your experience

Not Allowed

  • Submitting fully AI-generated reviews without verification
  • Using AI to fabricate experiences, results, or program details
  • Using AI to write reviews on behalf of others

Guidelines for Vendors

Vendors with partner programs listed on PartnerXperience must act with integrity. The millions of partners visiting our platform rely on authentic feedback to inform their partnership decisions.

Prohibited Vendor Behaviors

Review Manipulation

  • Biased review collection: Selectively inviting only satisfied partners to review, or discouraging negative reviews
  • Fake reviews: Creating, soliciting, or submitting fake reviews to inflate ratings
  • Incentivized reviews: Offering rewards, discounts, or benefits in exchange for positive reviews
  • Review coaching: Instructing partners on what to write or how to rate
  • Competitor manipulation: Submitting negative reviews of competitors' programs

Reviewer Intimidation

  • Attempting to identify or contact reviewers to influence, coerce, or pressure them to change their review
  • Threatening to terminate partnerships based on review content
  • Retaliating against partners who leave negative reviews
  • Using legal threats to suppress legitimate criticism

Platform Abuse

  • Creating fake program or vendor profiles
  • Misrepresenting program details, benefits, or tier structures
  • Using automated means to access, scrape, or manipulate the platform
  • Attempting to identify anonymous reviewers

What Vendors CAN Do

  • Invite all partners to leave honest reviews (not just satisfied ones)
  • Report concerns about reviews that appear fake or violate guidelines
  • Respond publicly to reviews (coming soon) in a professional manner
  • Use feedback to improve their partner programs
  • Share aggregate scores in marketing materials with proper attribution

Prohibited Content

The following content is not allowed in reviews and will be removed:

Harmful or Illegal Content

  • Hate speech or discrimination based on race, gender, religion, nationality, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics
  • Threats, harassment, or promotion of violence
  • Defamatory statements presented as facts
  • Content promoting illegal activities
  • Severe profanity or obscene material

Privacy Violations

  • Personal information of vendor employees (names, phone numbers, emails)
  • Information that could identify other partners
  • Screenshots or documents containing sensitive data

NDA and Confidentiality Obligations

As a partner, you likely have contractual agreements with vendors that include non-disclosure or confidentiality provisions. Your review must respect these obligations.

Do not include in your review:

  • Pricing or discount structures shared under NDA (specific margin percentages, tier discounts, deal-specific pricing)
  • Product roadmap details disclosed in partner-only briefings or under embargo
  • Unpublished features or beta access information not yet publicly announced
  • Internal processes or systems shared as part of your partnership (deal registration workflows, internal tools, partner portal specifics)
  • Strategic plans or business intelligence shared during partner meetings, QBRs, or executive briefings
  • Contractual terms specific to your partnership agreement

How to share feedback without violating your NDA:

  • Instead of: "They offer 32% margins at Gold tier"
Say: "Margins are competitive for our tier level"
  • Instead of: "They showed us Feature X coming in Q2"
Say: "The product roadmap looks promising"
  • Instead of: "Their deal reg system uses Salesforce integration"
    Say: "Deal registration is straightforward"

Remember: You are responsible for understanding and complying with your own contractual obligations. PartnerXperience cannot determine what is covered by your specific NDA. When in doubt, keep it general or omit the detail.

Inauthentic Content

  • Fake or fabricated experiences
  • Plagiarized content copied from other sources
  • Spam, gibberish, or nonsensical text
  • Reviews not based on genuine program experience
  • Reviews about the wrong program or vendor

Promotional Content

  • Advertisements for unrelated products or services
  • Promotional codes or referral links
  • Content primarily intended to promote or disparage a different program
  • Political, religious, or unrelated advocacy

Outdated Experiences

  • Reviews based on experiences more than 24 months old (partner programs can change significantly)

Content Moderation

Our Moderation Process

  1. Automated Screening: All reviews pass through automated filters for spam, prohibited content, and quality checks
  2. AI Moderation: Reviews are analyzed for potentially identifying information when submitted anonymously
  3. Manual Review: Flagged reviews undergo manual review by our team
  4. Community Reporting: Any user can report a review that appears to violate our guidelines

Review Labels

Reviews may display the following labels:

  • Verified Partner: The reviewer has completed full verification (professional email + LinkedIn)
  • Current Partner / Former Partner / Evaluating: The reviewer's relationship status with the program
  • Edited: The review has been updated since original submission

What We Don't Do

  • We never edit the content of reviews
  • We never remove reviews simply because they are negative
  • We never suppress reviews at vendor request without guideline violations
  • We never accept payment to remove or hide reviews
  • We treat all reviews equally regardless of rating

Reporting Concerns

If you believe a review violates our guidelines, you can report it using the "Report" button on the review. Please include:

  • Which guideline you believe was violated
  • Any evidence supporting your concern
  • Your relationship to the program (if applicable)

We investigate all reports and will take action if violations are confirmed. Misuse of the reporting system is itself a violation.

Vendors may appeal enforcement decisions by contacting vendors@partnerxperience.com.

Best Practices for Reviewers

To make your review as helpful as possible for other partners:

Be Specific

Include details about your actual experience. Instead of "Support is bad," try "Response times for support tickets averaged 5+ days, and I rarely got resolution on first contact."

Be Balanced

Even if your experience was largely positive or negative, try to mention both strengths and areas for improvement. Balanced reviews are more credible and helpful.

Be Relevant

Focus on the rating dimensions shown for the program type you're reviewing. Each program type (referral, reseller, technology, etc.) has specific criteria that matter most to partners in that model. Stick to what's relevant. Other partners want to understand the aspects that directly impact their business relationship.

Be Timely

Review while your experience is fresh. Partner programs evolve, and recent feedback is most valuable to the community.

Protect Your Anonymity

If you choose to submit anonymously, avoid including details that could identify you:

Don't mention:

  • Your company name or location
  • Specific deal sizes or client names
  • Your exact partner tier
  • Specific dates or timeframes
  • Niche vertical or specialization

Do say:

  • "Support response times are slow"
  • "Portal is difficult to navigate"
  • "Margins have decreased recently"

Our Commitment to Marketplace Integrity

PartnerXperience continuously invests in review validation, fraud detection, and content moderation to protect partners, reviewers, and vendors. We are committed to:

  • Ensuring trust at scale through verification and moderation
  • Maintaining neutrality in how reviews are displayed and scored
  • Protecting partner anonymity while ensuring authentic voices
  • Identifying and removing fraudulent or manipulated content
  • Evolving our guidelines as the partner ecosystem changes

We may update these guidelines as needed. Significant changes will be communicated to our community.
